I’ve spent the last seven years of my life at Concordia University, St. Paul, four as a student and three on staff as a Campus Ministry Associate. As a student I had the privilege of studying with some extremely thought-provoking and brilliant professors and students. Those people have helped to shape my passion for relationships and cultural significance.
While pursuing my Communication Studies degree, I became friends with a handful of students in the College of Education programs. I often thought to myself, “I will never be a teacher.” Life is taking me there. Prior to embarking on this adventure in Turkey, I worked in marketing and public relations for two and a half years, and in IT support before that.
